Terms and Conditions
Last updated: September 2025
Governing law: Victoria, Australia.
1) Making a booking
A booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit and issue a confirmation. Tours require minimum numbers; if these aren’t met by the cutoff, we’ll offer you an alternative date, credit, or refund of monies paid (as set out below).

2) Payments, pricing & surcharges
-
Deposit: As stated on the tour page at checkout.
-
Balance: Due per the staged schedule on your tour page. Unpaid balances may result in cancellation
-
What’s included/excluded: Listed in FAQ's and in Tour specific pages
-
Pricing: Priced in AUD unless stated. We may adjust for taxes, supplier changes, or obvious errors; you’ll be notified before you pay any difference.
-
Payment methods: Cards or approved plans via checkout; bank transfer via “Manual Payment” is available.
3) Rooming & accommodation
-
Default: Twin share unless you select a single room (single supplement applies).
-
Upgrades: We book standard rooms only. If you want an upgrade, contact the hotel directly to arrange it at your own cost.
-
Special requests: Bedding configuration, adjacent/accessible rooms and early/late check-in are on request and subject to availability/extra charges set by the hotel.
-
Incidentals: Mini-bar, room service, resort/city fees, security deposits, damages and similar charges are between you and the property.
4) Fitness, conduct & safety
You must be reasonably fit for the itinerary (walking, stairs, standing) and follow local laws and leader instructions. We can remove a traveller who jeopardises safety/enjoyment without refund for unused services.
5) Your responsibilities: passports, visas, insurance
You’re responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements and health clearances for all destinations. Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, delay and belongings is strongly recommended and may be required for certain experiences.
6) If you change or cancel (by you)
Cancellation and change terms vary by tour and supplier. Earlier notice generally means lower fees; after certain cutoffs, fees may be high or 100%. We’ll set out the exact timelines and charges on your tour page and invoice.

7) If we change or cancel (by us)
We may modify the itinerary for safety, weather, or supplier reasons. If a significant change or cancellation occurs, we’ll offer (at our option and where available): a new date, a reasonably comparable alternative, a credit, or a refund of monies paid for the affected services, consistent with our obligations and your ACL rights.
8) Suppliers & limitation of liability
We act as agent for many independent suppliers (hotels, venues, activity suppliers). Their own conditions apply to their services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services resupplied, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
9) Optional activities & alcohol
Optional extras are not included unless stated and may be subject to availability and local requirements (age/ID, dress codes, safety). Where alcohol is involved, drink responsibly and follow venue policies; you can opt out at any time.
10) Images & content
You may take personal photos/videos unless a venue restricts it. We may request consent to use group imagery for marketing; this will always be opt-in.
11) Complaints & help
Raise any issue promptly with your tour leader or our office so we can try to resolve it quickly.
