USA Study Tour
The SEDA USA Study Tour is a 10-day high-performance sport and education immersion across San Francisco and New York. Students experience live NFL, NBA and NHL games, visit leading universities, go behind the scenes at major stadiums and hear directly from coaches and industry professionals. Along the way they build independence, confidence and real-world insight into careers in sport, business and leadership.

Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive San Francisco & Waterfront Orientation
Morning / Afternoon

Arrive in San Francisco and transfer to HI Fisherman’s Wharf.

Check in, settle into rooms and unpack.
Evening

Welcome briefing: program overview, expectations and safety.

Teacher-led orientation walk around Fisherman’s Wharf and surrounds.

Group dinner nearby.
-
Optional: hop-on hop-off bus for a first look at the city.
DAY 4
San Francisco by Bike & University of San Francisco
Morning

Free time for self-funded bike hire and city exploration (e.g. riding along the waterfront / towards the Golden Gate area).
Afternoon

Transfer to University of San Francisco (USF).

Dedicated campus tour and visit to athletics facilities.

USF Athletics panel & Q&A on college pathways, high-performance environments and careers.
Evening

Attend USF vs Lehigh (Women’s Basketball) with the possibility of post-game interaction with the team (to be confirmed).

Optional: students can purchase their own tickets to the Empire Classic at Chase Center if scheduling permits.
DAY 7
Brooklyn Industry Experience & Nets vs 76ers

Travel to Prudential Center (New Jersey).

Arena tour and behind-the-scenes look at the home of the New Jersey Devils.

Attend New Jersey Devils vs Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL).

Stanford University & College Football Experience

Oracle Park, Alcatraz Option & NBA Cup Game

Columbia University & NCAA Basketball

Thanksgiving Travel Day: San Francisco → New York City

Arrive in New York, transfer to Night Hotel Broadway / HI New York City Hostel.

NYC Highlights, 9/11 Memorial & Optional NFL / Broadway

Alternative evening options include a Broadway show or further exploration of Times Square and nearby precincts.
